One of Schäffer’s best-selling wheel loader models around the world, the 2445 S delivers on agility and maneuverability, with an overall width of less than 60 inches, and an operating weight of approximately 5,500 pounds (approx. 5,900 with cab). Its size, coupled with Schäffer’s superior swivel joint design, allows for this high-performing, industrial-grade machine, to be used at jobs usually limited to less-powerful equipment.

The exceedingly robust hydraulic flow of up to 21.4 GPM thanks to Schäffer’s MHF (Multi High Flow Hydraulics) system, which allows the operator to select between low (12.15 GPM) or high (21.4 GPM) oil flow — coupled with lifting power usually expected of much larger machines (over 5,000 lbs with a bucket and 4,000 with pallet fork) truly make this wheel loader shine and a must-have in your heavy equipment fleet.

In addition to the exceptional all-around and attachment visibility that characterizes all Schäffer loaders, the 2445 S comes with either an open-air ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure) or optional air conditioned/heated enclosed cab.

The Multi High Flow (MHF) hydraulic system consists of a double gear pump with an extra disc inside the spool, which merges the lines when operation requires additional hydraulic power, particularly with certain attachments. It supplies an oil flow of up to 21.4 GPM, without a noticeable power drop.
High Traction Force (HTF) automatically regulates the thrust so the loader can supply the highest possible thrust, even in a high gear.
Schäffer Power Transmission (SPT) is an electronically-controlled autodrive that adapts to the torque properties of the diesel motor, allowing for lower fuel consumption, easier start up on slopes and “Cruise Control” function via an optional potentiometer.
